Some might say the Doctor is insane, but that’s probably in the past now, when it comes to Ozzy Osbourne.
The singer’s new book, "Trust Me, I’m Dr. Ozzy," hit stores on Tuesday; it’s a health advice collection of the best of his columns from Rolling Stone (US) and the Sunday Times (UK), with some additional material thrown in.
Ozzy launched the project at an in-store signing in Huntington Beach, California on Tuesday evening.
The virtual launch began earlier in the day on Ozzy’s social networks - Twitter and Facebook - with the introduction of a week-long series called "Dr. Ozzy's Seven-Day Guide To Better Living."
Dr. Ozzy offered his first better-living tip:
"Always get a 2nd opinion — even if it means calling the doctor's cell from 6ft underground to ask if he's 100% sure you're dead."
As part of his week-long series, "Dr. Ozzy's Seven-Day Guide To Better Living," Ozzy offers up better-living tip #2:
"If you write to Dr. Ozzy to ask if something is right or wrong...you know it's wrong."
And tip #3:
"Tattoos - You can do it yourself, but I’d advise not to, as things can go wrong when you’re stabbing yerself with a rusty fork."
With more than 15 tattoos, Osbourne knows a thing or two about the process. One of his most famous is the letters O-Z-Z-Y across the knuckles of his left hand - which he created himself, as a teenager, using a sewing needle and some Indian ink.
